| These are the brand new for 2005 Dream 90 series. New and Improved.
We've beefed up the output- now they're a full 8.4k for the bridge,
8.2K for the neck. Neck pickups are now REVERSE WOUND for full
HUMBUCKING performance with both pickups selected. Polepieces are
matched to the string spread- 2 1/8" at the bridge, 2" at the neck.
They're fabulous sounding- Big and full with LOTS of P90 tone, but with
a fatter, warmer and yet crunchier body. Thanks to the metal shell they
resist hum fairly well, and the sense of string attack and dynamics is
flat-out fabulous. These are expensive custom made pickups- We offer here Gorgeous THREE FOOT DEEP
Black Mother of Pearl bonded to a real Fiber Bobbin - vintage GOLD
surround and gold plated nickel adjustable polepieces. These sound flat
out great. If
you're into humbucker stuff then please check out the matching Dream
180 pickup set- that combine the qualities of classic Filtertron
pickups in to a tough PAF pickup. These are great sounding and
really great looking. They're pretty high end- totally vacuum wax
impregnated- wound on vintage styled Fiber Bobbins- output a lot hotter
than vintage P90's. I also LOVE these in Tele bodies- they give you the
Tele edge and twang but with WAY more bottom and low mids! |
