Here's a tremendous value in a Floyd Rose equipped Dual humbucker guitar.
Browsing the aisles at the local Guitar Barn we noticed a $300 line of guitars from a MAJOR MANUFACTURER that were pretty damned good... except for the lame pickups and cheapo floyd, we thought the quality was excellent for Three Bills.
Long story short, we went straight to the manufacturer of these VERY FAMOUS guitars and started up a new partnership. We started with the sweet Dinky style body, add a 24 fret neck cut form select hard rock maple, topped with rosewood. We went with frets slightly larger than medium jumbos, hand leveled and crowned then polished to a high gloss.
A genuine Licensed Floyd Rose trem is installed with locking nut, and a pair of specially tweaked GFS Crunchy Pat pickups and a three way flush mounted switch. I don't think there's a guitar under $350 anywhere that can compete with this axe for pure power and playability.
