Description
The Astrea AS510E is the classic "Jumbo Dreadnaught" sized guitar. Similar in contour to vintage Gibson models, the unique "Slope Shoulder" size gives this guitar a little better midrange focus - it projects!
The secret to the big tone of this guitar is the solid Canadian Sitka Spruce top. We don't know of another guitar featuring such a quality, tightly grained top within a few hundred dollars of this guitar! The upgrades don't stop there, the AS510 features gold plated "Kluson" style vintage tuners with vintage Ivoroid "tulip" keys. Large Abalone and mother of pearl inlays and a fully bound neck give the 510 an air of elegance.
We've installed our very best acoustic-electric preamp and pickup combo, the EAP540 and ATZ055.
The GFS EAP-540 is an incredibly sophisticated four band Acoustic preamp. It includes a bright LED display that makes tuning a snap even in the most dimly lit environments.
This is one of the most stable tuners we've ever used... a perfect choice for louder stages. A built-in phase control allows you to get your amplified sound in phase with mic'd acoustic sound- your soundman will LOVE you! The single rotary volume control makes fine tuning your volume a "no look" affair.
The AS510 fits all of our Dreadnaught cases. Compare this to all Sitka Spruce Top Guitars at 2-3X the price!
