Small chip on edge of neck pickup rout - This specific body has a 56mm wide neck pocket.
This XGP Tele body is now lighter weight! Average weight is under 5 lbs!! We rout each body to exact 1961 Telecaster body specs... using MY OWN 1961 Tele Custom as the template. This is a level of quality that YOU HAVE NOT SEEN at anything near this price.The body is predrilled- with six top holes that line up perfectly with all vintage-correct tele bridges, and 6 rear ferrules holes that fit perfectly with our 8mm ferrules with a 10mm shoulder, Item # K13, K14, and K15. This is VINTAGE SPEC ONLY- so you MUST use our WIlkinson cutaway bridge or similar- The Humbucker Tele bridge is NOT a fit for these.This body is cut for two humbuckers, so you must use a traditional Strat hardtail bridge like our C01. The WIlkinson Tele bridge won't work due to the size of the bridge pickup. The neck pocket is routed to a vintage correct 2 3/16" width, and fits our necks and most real Fender Brand necks perfectly. Take a good look- the thin, hard vintage finish, the perfect contours- this guitar will take all of our "Vintage" style telecaster bridges.We think this body compares VERY favorably to bodies sold in the $200-$400 range.
