The new Rich Tonewood Series from Xaviere represents the greatest combination of quality, craftsmanship and value EVER in the guitar industry.
The 450D features a SOLID USA Sitka Spruce Top from Alaska, a rosewood bridge, Bone compensated saddle and bone nut. The rosewood fingerboard is bound with real Koa wood. The body is bound with binding made up of long grain Koa with ebony and maple purfling. The rosette is Mahogany and Red Maple. Heck- even the inlay dots are maple! The peghead overlay is ebony and the "Xaviere" logo is hand inlaid in real Maple!
The back and sides are "Waterfall Bubinga" from Africa. Not only is the wood spectacular to look at but really adds a nice lower midrange swell to the guitar !
The 450D features a solid Mahogany neck topped off with excellent 14:1 tuners in the "Gotoh" style screw arrangement.
Only the best materials have been used to craft this instrument.. even the soundhole label is made from SOLID WOOD!
The 450D is topped off with a very thin coat of catalyzed urethane- we give this guitar the thinnest of coats because it is a great feeling matte finish.
This is an extremely well balanced and toneful guitar- standard Dreadnaught shape with firm bottom, relaxed mids and sweet and clear treble.
