These are great machines- I use them on repairs and on new guitars all the time. These are EXACT replacements for min Gotoh tuning machines- 10mm shaft hole, small body, offset hole, smooth as butter 14:1 gearing- even the classic vintage styled "butterbean" tuning knob. SWEET!
I can find no functional difference between these excellent tuners and the far more expensive "branded" models, right down to the little urethane bushing between the button and the tuner body.
