FINALLY somebody offers the cool "Foil" sound, appearance and punch for Tele owners!

GFS Metal Foil Pickups offer a unique combination of fullness, sweetness and crystalline, transparent high end. These use custom made bar magnets and vintage style scatterwound coils. These are the Alnico versions, for a fatter, warmer tone than our Ferrite models. A nice setup is Alnico for the bridge and Ferrite for the neck.

These are all metal Tele Pickups. The shells are triple chrome plated steel with solid steel, nickel plated baseplates. The steel baseplate gives these pickups UNREAL levels of "Spank" and percussiveness. These use custom made Alnico V bar magnets and scatterwound coils, with the entire assembly thoroughly wax potted for squeal-free performance. Since these use so much metal, they are best for medium to low gain applications.

These are surprisingly loud and full but with a transparent "Kerrang" style high end that will remind you of Lipstick tube pickups. The Bridge pickups are either 5.5K or 7K, The neck pickups 5K or 7K. The typical setup is the 7K bridge and 5K neck. For a brighter guitar go with the 6k and 5k, for a louder, slightly warmer guitar go for the 7K and the 6K.

All pickups are "Clock Wound" for the sweetest and most "present" quack in the in-between positions. These are compatible with any Kwikplug wiring harness.
