Genuine Aged Bone Nut Blank For Gibson/Martin Style Guitars

Here's a HAND MADE nut blank carved from genuine aged bone- not bleached white- Nothing beats bone for ultimate tone or sustain. This is an OVERSIZED blank to allow you to carve your own radius or shape- They are 56mm wide, 4.8mm thick and 11mm high. With a chunk that big this is a great problem solver for a weirdo guitar as well- or lay it on it's side to carve a nice replacement nut for a Floyd locking nut. This is real bison bone- which is very dense and has a nice "aged" patina to it. As with ANY guitar nut a substantial amount of hand fitting is often required, and even though the slots are molded you will need to hand-file the slots to meet your particular playing requirements.
