Twin adjustable single coil pickups reside within the Lil Puncher. It's wired with four conductors, so just add a push-pull pot and you can instantly go from humbucker to single coil without adding any holes to your prized Tele. Get the Tele sound with some humbucker "PUNCH".
Unlike the "Big Name" version of this pickup- the GFS Lil Puncher has a real vintage FIBER BOBBIN- that means that, unlike plastic, they can really heat up the wax and vacuum impregnate the windings- the result? KILLER tone, great output, no noise, and NO MICROPHONICS! We build this pickup on a real Metal baseplate just like vintage Tele pickups- This gives the Lil Puncher the snap and twang of a tele pickup, the quietness of a humbucker, and enough meat and girth to really drive your amp! You get the overall feel and tone of a vintage Tele Bridge pickup, with lots of vintage PAF warmth in. No toneless thudding tone for this pickup. I have in my prized 52 Relic- and the tone is incredible! This fits in the standard Tele Bridge-
