The Ultimate for Sustain, Tone and Upper Fret Access!
GLUED-IN setneck Strat style guitar. 21 medium jumbo frets. 12" radius with a medium "C" neck profile with just the hint of a deeper V. These are 43mm wide at the nut and 56mm wide at the heel. Super nice neck profile! Canadian HARD ROCK Maple neck with Maple fingerboard. Nice lightweight Pauwlonia body with clear white maple veneer. Nice finish applied and buffed to a gloss.
This version is the traditional Strat-Style body but with a a perfect "Swimming Pool" rout. The "bump-out" is there to accept that pickguard screw to the left of the pickups, and humbucker screw channels have been routed. Makes for a really sleek modern look. These are cut to accept any import style trem we sell. The only things you need to do are drill the two holes to mount your 3 or 5 way switch and, if using passive pickups, drill a hole through the cavity for a tremolo ground wire.
We strongly recommend doing a standard fret level, grind and polish on ANY brand new project. These are brand new, unused... They are finished to a high standard but the factory would have put these through a final inspection process AFTER the hardware had been installed, so you might find a slight blemish or mark that YOU will have to fix. The Pauwlonia body meets the maple neck and is glued together- NO BOLTS. The super tight neck fit and internal tenon make for a terrifically strong necks joint. Due to the two different woods meeting- you'll find that the finish will eventually show "Witness Lines" at that seam. Does not mean the wood is cracked, just means they expand and contract at different rates.
Average weight on these is around 6 lbs.
