This is not a one-off item. These pickguards all have various dark staining marks from sun aging.
The ultimate upgrade for a telecaster®- Use a big honking Humbucker in the neck position, combine it with your Tele bridge pickup and you've got a KILLER hybrid. These are CUSTOM CUT just for us- we've matched up the hole patterns so it is an exact fit for ALL genuine teles- and a good close fit on everything else. These use standard size Humbuckers.
Since these are custom made for us- we've snuck the neck humbucker a little bit closer to the bridge- to give you more SNAP and string definition!
These are high quality guards- and don't be surprised if this is the same exact guard used by some VERY famous manufacturers.
Please don't confuse this with the cheapo thin single ply guards some sell, or the Mighty Mite guards on Ebay. (Mighty Mite uses their own shape and hole location) This is the standard vintage Tele size and hole placement. (As with all pickguards- you will almost always need to modify some hole placements when retrofitting a pickguard)
